COMMUNITY DESCRIPTIONS

West View Shores: West View Shores (WVS) is located in Earleville, MD, which is situated on Maryland's Eastern Shore at the top of the Chesapeake Bay. WVS originated in the mid 1940's as a seasonal community and has evolved over the years into a community that contains increasing numbers of permanent residents. The WVS community offers splendid views of the Chesapeake Bay, the Elk River, and Turkey Point lighthouse.

West View Shores Civic Association

Bay View Estates: Bay View Estates (BVE) is located in Earleville, MD along the Chesapeake Bay and was founded in 1957. The BVE community contains a variety of half-acre lots, which are situated in a fashion that allows for almost every resident to have a view of the Chesapeake Bay. BVE is a unique community that does not allow fencing, which gives the community an open and clean appearance. In 2010 the residents formed the BVE Homeowners' Association and established a maintenance fee that is used to maintain private roads and three common grounds along the Chesapeake Bay. Today, BVE is a friendly community that includes 73 homes, 58 full-time residents, 15 summer residents, and 49 vacant lots.

Sunset Pointe: The Sunset Pointe community is located adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay in Earleville, MD at the end of Pond Neck Road. Sunset Pointe has an active Homeowners' Association, along with a community boat pier, beach access, and many open acres designated as the community common area.
